Princess Cruises is the third largest cruise line in the world and offers cruises to all seven continents.

Vacationers get to choose from 100 different itineraries, ranging from a few days in length to longer voyages.

Destinations include the Caribbean, Alaska, Panama Canal, Europe, Mexican Riviera, South America, Australia/New Zealand, South Pacific, Hawaii, Tahiti/French Polynesia, Asia, India, Africa, Canada/New England, Antarctica and world cruises.

Princess has an extensive network of 4,000 shore excursions which let passengers explore places around the world.

Princess Cruises is the largest cruise and tour operator in Alaska with eight cruise ships, five riverside wilderness lodges, a fleet of deluxe motor coaches, and luxury domed rail cars.

The cruise company operates 17 cruise ships.

The line's largest ships are Caribbean Princess (2004), Crown Princess (2006), Diamond Princess (2004), Emerald Princess (2007), Golden Princess (2001), Grand Princess (1998), Ruby Princess (2008), Sapphire Princess (2004), and Star Princess (2002).

Mid-sized ships include Coral Princess (2003), Dawn Princess (1997), Island Princess (2003), Sea Princess (1998), and Sun Princess (1995).

Pacific Princess (1999), Royal Princess (2001),and Tahitian Princess (1999) and smaller vessels.

Cruise rates start at about $449 per person for a 4-day cruise.
