Carnival Cruise Lines is the largest cruise company in the world. The company owns 22 cruise ships and is headquartered in Miami.

Carnival offers affordable cruises to destinations around the world, including Alaska, the Caribbean, Bermuda, Hawaii, Mexico, Europe, and Canada.

You can find cruises as short as just a couple of days as well as longer, 16-day voyages.

Carnival ships have on board spas, youth programs, nightly entertainment, shopping and an array of activities. Kids can have fun on water slides, play mini-golf and participate in many programs.

The cruise company operates eight 2,052 passenger Fantasy-class ships: Carnival Fantasy, Ecstasy, Sensation, Fascination, Imagination, Inspiration, Elation and Paradise.

There is one 1,452-passenger Holiday-class ship, one 2,642-guest Destiny-class ship, and two Triumph-class ships: Carnival Triumph and Victory.

The Conquest-class cruise ships can carry nearly 3,000 guests: Carnival Conquest, Glory, Valor, Liberty and Freedom.

Spirit-class ships include Carnival Spirit, Pride, Legend and Miracle.

The 3,000+ passenger Carnival Splendor was placed in service in 2008, while the newest ship, Carnival Dream, will begin sailing in September 2009.

Three-day Bahamas cruises start at $159 per person, 7-day Alaska cruises from $469.
