Holland America operates 14 ships which sail to over 320 ports of call.
Some of the cruise line's most popular cruise destinations are the Caribbean and Alaska, Mexico, Canada, Europe and Panama Canal. Holland America Line was founded in 1873.
Holland America has already ordered its 15th ship, ms Nieuw Amsterdam which will be put in service in 2010.
The cruise line is launching a new "Signature of Excellence" program, a $525 million enhancement focusing on elegant accommodations, five-star dining, attentive service, activities and tours.
Every year, Holland America offers nearly 500 cruises, ranging from a few days to 108-day seven-continent voyages.
All cruise ships have an on board spa, fitness center and salon.

Holland America Tours, a subsidiary of Holland America, operates tours and hotels in Alaska and Yokon Territory.
The cruise line owns two Signature Class ships: Nieuw Amsterdam and Eurodam; four Vista Class ships: Noordam, Westerdam, Oosterdam and Zuiderdam; four R-class ships: Amsterdam, Zaandam, Volendam and Rotterdam; four S-class ships: Veendam, Ryndam, Maasdam and Statendam; and Prinsendam which is in a class of its own.
