A 1,380-passenger cruise ship, ms Amsterdam began sailing as a part of the Holland America fleet in 2000.

The ship was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy and is registered in the Netherlands.

Aboard ms Amsterdam, you'll find a spa & salon, culinary center, digital workshop, several restaurants, a show lounge, kid's club and a center for teens.

The largest and most luxurious accommodations aboard ms Amsterdam are Penthouse Verandah Suites which measure about 1,160 square feet in size.

The cruise ships sails to destinations around the world, including Alaska, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific, South America and the Panama Canal.
